"I have been a student at the Cognitive Hub from Primary 6 till Secondary 4. Thanks to the kind and patient teachers at The Cognitive Hub, my grades have improved tremendously and I was able to even top my cohort in English. The teachers at The Cognitive Hub are always willing to lend a helping hand and include interesting and engaging ways to help me learn better. Their classes are never boring and there is always something to look forward too every lesson."

The Cognitive Hub is not just a tuition centre, but a conducive learning environment for all its students.

Under the guidance of dedicated teachers, coupled with its various well thought out activities, the centre not only prepares its students for their examinations, but also seeks to give their students a holistic and well-rounded education.

Its activities include a wide range of media, such as videos, audios, visual and literary texts etc, that all seek to expose students such as myself to all text types and encourage us to read voraciously. On top of that, students are exposed to current affairs that aim to hone the critical thinking abilities of its students, as well as formulate their opinions on critical worldly issues.

Overall, I have had a very enjoyable experience with the centre over the past three years and I am glad that I have not only been able to improve my English, but also gleaned new knowledge that

will definitely serve me well in the future!

The teachers at The Cognitive  Hub have a genuine interest in their students

and through their teaching experience can quickly and effectively size up students

and help them achieve their potential.

My son was taught 6 years ago by these same teachers that started The Cognitive Hub and his General Paper grade improved significantly. He is now a medical student at a top university in UK.

My youngest son is currently undergoing the same expert guidance at The Cognitive Hub and we parents can witness his thought maturity.

The Cognitive Hub does not simply dish out standard text book answers to questions

but trains the students in the facilitation of their mental and cognitive faculties.

Lessons at TCH were very beneficial and very helpful! The teachers engage the students a lot in thinking about the issue itself, rather than focusing on memorising sample essays or treating English as just a subject to be taken at an examination level. They really care about the development of students as a critical thinker and in their interest for the subject by relating the topics they teach to real life events — especially for General Paper class.

My teacher taught us to evaluate a lot in our writing to give it more depth and go beyond superficial description, so that our essays/AQs could stand out to the markers and readers. She also could give us a lot of good advice about how to improve in our writing ability to prepare us not only for the A levels, but also for our future endeavours in Uni, etc.

Every lesson was different, and we would have lots of class discussions and feedback sessions for us to learn as much as we could from one another and to gain new perspectives through our conversations in a meaningful way. It made lessons much less boring too, and brought out the essence and the joy of learning English and about current affairs — to be able to think, critique, and communicate our views in a clear and succinct way, in a thoughtful way so that we can be prepared for the working world and whatever lies ahead.
